Hank becomes the proud owner of three precious steak bones. To protect this fortune in bones from Drover and anyone else who might want to steal them, he buries them in Sally May's garden. But after meeting his old pal Dog Pound Ralph on the county road, returns to the garden and finds...

The bones are gone! And in each hole he finds an empty Vienna sausage can. By this time, he is certain that a night-stalking bone monster is loose on the ranch, and that he intends to make sausage out of all the dogs.

Is there really a bone monster on the ranch? Can Hank solve the case in time to save himself and Drover from a terrible fate?
