#19-The Case of the Midnight Rustler

Have you ever wondered if cattle rustlers still exist? Hank and Slim go on a camping expedition to see if they can catch the mysterious stranger who is stealing calves in the north pasture.

Before they're finished, Hank devours all of Slim's camp meat (weenies) and chews the tent rope in half during a thunderstorm. Poor Slim gets soaked, but fortunately he never figures out why the rope broke.

The story on cassette tape includes two new songs: a rousing hay-hauler's version of the hymn "See the Morning Sun Ascending" and "Alas and Alack," which tells of a cowboy who went to the circus and lived to regret it.
