#15-The
Case of the Missing Cat
Hank makes
a foolish bet with his arch-enemy, Pete the Barncat, that he can
catch the Lumberpile Bunny.
He loses
the wager and with it go his job, his pride, and even his gunny
sack bed under the gas tanks. Suffering a "nervous breakthrough,"
Hank begins plotting revenge.
He must
dispose of the cat.
That sounds
simple enough. But without Pete, Hank makes a sudden discovery.
Scrap time has lost all its joy and meaning because there is no
cat to fight with.
The cassette
tape has two great songs: "I must Dispose of the Cat" and "Prairie
Vespers."
