Lone star literary life

Hi Hank Readers!

Recently, Hank --and John Erickson too-- were asked by Lone Star Literary Life to be interviewed for their Children’s Literature Summer Special, and the interviews are great! (We'd love to know what you think of them in the comments below!)

Interviewer, Kay Ellington, asked Hank questions like "What is your back story? How did you arrive at the ranch?",  "You've been mentoring Drover for quite awhile, yet he doesn't seem to quite share your passion for leadership. What do you think his ideal career path is?",  "Do you think that Beulah, the collie, will ever realize that you're the best dog for her? Might Hank have a little romance in his future?",  and "Are you currently hatching a new plan to get the best of Pete the Barn Cat?"

And, to John, she directed questions of a more literary nature: "When did you know you wanted to be a writer?",  "How did you and your long-time illustrator, Gerald L. Holmes, come to work together?",  "What is your current writing process like?",  "What advice would you have for aspiring authors?" and "What continues to inspire you to write after 65 Hank books?"
